Hi Everyone,

PLEASE take a minute to read our Business Development Managers Leah’s story on why Endometriosis UK is close to her heart.

Endometriosis is a common condition where tissue that behaves like the lining of the womb (endometrium) is found in other parts of the body.

Endometriosis affects an estimated 1 in 10 women during their reproductive years (ie. usually between the ages of 15 to 49), which is approximately 176 million women in the world

Around 1.5 million women in the UK are currently living with the condition. Endometriosis can affect all women and girls of a childbearing age, regardless of race or ethnicity.

Leah has said

“Me and my partner Damon will be walking up Snowdon on Saturday 28th October 2017, please donate on our just giving page.”

“The purpose of this story is not to have people feel sorry for me, but to raise awareness and hopefully raise £500 to donate to Endometriosis UK.

This is an illness you can’t see, but I can very much guarantee you an illness that affects at least 1 person you know, please sponsor Myself and Damon on climbing Snowdon on Saturday 28th October 2017.”
